# klaspr — Find the competitors you’re actually up against.

> klaspr finds the competitors a company actually has, and shows where every piece of information came from.

Know what they’re changing, where they’re heading, and what it means for you.

## Who it is for

Founders and marketing teams at small companies who need to know who they are up against, and who cannot afford to act on a number nobody can trace back to a source.

## What it does today

01. **You describe the company** — Explain what you do, who you serve, and where you compete — in plain language.
02. **Klaspr searches for relevant companies** — It looks across available sources to identify companies that may compete with you.
03. **Review the results** — See why each company was included, then decide which ones matter to you.

Klaspr helps with the research. You keep the judgment.

## How every claim is labelled

Nothing on a competitor card is unattributed.

- **FACT** — read from a source
- **INTERPRETATION** — concluded by a model
- **HYPOTHESIS** — concluded, and low confidence

- Anything read from a source is labelled FACT and shows that source and its date.
- Anything a model concluded is labelled INTERPRETATION, or HYPOTHESIS when its confidence is low, and is shown on a surface reserved for model output.
- Missing data is shown as missing. It is never rendered as a zero, because a zero claims someone looked.

## What it does not do yet

Listed here on purpose, as of 16 August 2026. A competitive intelligence
product is usually assumed to do all of this, and assuming it here would be the
one thing this product says it will never do.

- Live monitoring of competitor sites: the pricing engine is written and tested on fixtures, but no real page is being watched yet.
- Email and in-app alerts, and the weekly brief.
- Ad, social and hiring signals.
- Trajectory: klaspr does not infer where a competitor is heading. The landing page says it does; that sentence is ahead of the code.
- Impact analysis: klaspr does not tell you what a competitor's change means for you. The landing page says it does; that sentence is ahead of the code.
- Exportable reports and a public API.
- Billing: the plans exist in code, but nothing can be paid for yet.
